The Asian Poker Tour (APT) has signed a fresh two-year agreement with Geutebruck Korea Inc (GK) to organize several poker tournaments at the poker rooms of latter in South Korea, such as at Paradise Casino Walkerhill in Seoul, and the Incheon based Paradise City, close to the main international airport serving the capital of the country.
Under the agreement, some of the confirmed poker tournaments scheduled for 2018 include: APT Korea Seoul at Paradise Casino Walkerhill, this will take place from June 15 to 24; and the APT Korea Incheon which will take place at Paradise City, and will be organized from August 10 to 19, 2018.
The Paradise Casino Walkerhill (PCW) is run by operator of South Korean casino, Paradise Co Ltd. And the casino, Paradise City – opened on 20th of April 2017 – is a result of the venture of Sega Sammy Holdings Inc., the Japanese pachinko operator and Paradise Co. At both the properties, the casinos are for foreigners exclusively.
The APT Korea Seoul (APTKS) tournament is going to be the first event of APT at Paradise Casino Walkerhill, according to the release published recently.
Speaking about the event the Dom Choi, the Geutebruck director, said, “We are really excited to have APT back in [South] Korea next year, not only in Incheon but also at the Walkerhill Casino”.
“This year the APT Incheon was a huge success based on the feedbacks of players, so we thought of adding another stop for them and thus added this to the calendar for next year.
The APT has the experience of organizing poker tournaments in South Korea and, thus it will be not a problem for them and the players will have all new experience of playing in such a truly amazing ambience.
